{"id":329,"date":"2015-01-20T16:57:03","date_gmt":"2015-01-20T23:57:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yogapantsdiary.com\/?p=329"},"modified":"2015-01-20T16:59:06","modified_gmt":"2015-01-20T23:59:06","slug":"off-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogapantsdiary.com\/?p=329","title":{"rendered":"Off Track&#8230;&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ever since the holidays, starting a few weeks before Christmas until now, I feel like I just can&#8217;t quite get it back.<\/p>\n<p>In September, I hit my goal weight.\u00a0 Ever since then even&#8230;..I feel like I&#8217;m just not quite figuring it out.\u00a0\u00a0 September, October and even most of November I was struggling.\u00a0 Once I hit my goal weight, I had trouble not losing more weight for about 6 weeks.\u00a0 Then, I finally figured out how to eat based on my amount of exercise and maintain the same number on the scale.\u00a0 This lasted for about a month and then the holidays hit&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Off-Track.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-637\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Off-Track.jpg?resize=525%2C350\" alt=\"Off-Track\" width=\"525\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Off-Track.jpg?w=600&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Off-Track.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Off-Track.jpg?resize=150%2C100&amp;ssl=1 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While I don&#8217;t feel like I &#8216;fell off the wagon&#8217; these past two months, I just can&#8217;t quite get back to my eating schedule.\u00a0 Between having time off and sweets galore every other day, things have gotten mucky.\u00a0 I felt like I had to loosen my purse strings after hitting my goal weight and then maintain.\u00a0 It was fine to have a sweet treat or big meal now and then but now things are getting hard.<\/p>\n<p>After the holidays, I went on a two week candy and sweets detox.\u00a0 I ate so much that I had avoided that I&#8217;m starting to crave it again.\u00a0 I find my thoughts wandering to chocolate and fried things&#8230;&#8230;.. not good.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve also been missing my snacks\u00a0 between meals.\u00a0 At first, my metabolism kept up no problem.\u00a0 (NAUGHTY METABOLISM!)\u00a0 This is both a blessing and a curse.\u00a0 When your metabolism &#8216;forgives&#8217; a sweet treat now and then, it&#8217;s easy to get out of control.\u00a0 Suddenly I thought I could drink alcohol, eat fried appetizers and have dessert every weekend.\u00a0 Which then creeps in to weekdays&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, I finally saw the scale going up.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still under goal weight but I&#8217;m not at the magical number I like to see.\u00a0 I could just put it to the back of my mind and think, &#8220;So what? At least I&#8217;m still under goal weight.&#8221; But for me it needs to be a red flag.\u00a0 I know I could easily fall back into my old habits.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t fear gaining all my weight back, but I want to keep up the healthy choices that have gotten me to this weight.\u00a0 It&#8217;s always been about being healthy for me, not getting skinny.\u00a0 So I need to make sure that I keep that at the front of my mind.<\/p>\n<p>So today, I ate perfect.\u00a0 I counted my calories and watched my sugar.\u00a0 I&#8217;m hoping to drop the two pounds that added up over the last two months but then maintain healthily!\u00a0 I thought I had it but I&#8217;m still figuring it out.\u00a0 Also, this last two months have been a great reminder that no matter how I look on the outside, I&#8217;ll always be a fat girl on the inside. I&#8217;ll always want to eat more than I should.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll always want to eat the whole chocolate cake.
