{"id":391,"date":"2014-10-05T10:18:19","date_gmt":"2014-10-05T16:18:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yogapantsdiary.com\/?p=391"},"modified":"2015-03-29T17:33:32","modified_gmt":"2015-03-29T23:33:32","slug":"meeting-your-goal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogapantsdiary.com\/?p=391","title":{"rendered":"Meeting Your Goal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Septmeber 11th I hit my goal weight. \u00a0I haven&#8217;t posted about it because I&#8217;m still weeding through the feelings of what that even means.<\/p>\n<p>I knew it was coming. \u00a0My weight was really really close to finally seeing 165, healthy weight. When I stepped on the scale that morning, I didn&#8217;t know how I would feel. \u00a0When I saw the magic number, 165, I felt&#8230;..nothing. \u00a0I was hoping to feel relief, like, FINALLY it&#8217;s over! \u00a0But if felt like weighing in every other day. \u00a0I was a little disappointed that there wasn&#8217;t a celebration dance party or huge sense of relief.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10418903_10102135262094749_5252525962911183762_n.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-392\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10418903_10102135262094749_5252525962911183762_n.jpg?resize=525%2C394\" alt=\"10418903_10102135262094749_5252525962911183762_n\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10418903_10102135262094749_5252525962911183762_n.jpg?w=960&amp;ssl=1 960w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10418903_10102135262094749_5252525962911183762_n.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At first it scared me. \u00a0If I&#8217;m not celebrating reaching my goal after such a long journey, have I not learned anything? We did not go out for a special meal. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t even buy myself a present or really celebrate in any sort of way. \u00a0It felt weird! \u00a0I thought for sure I&#8217;d want to go out for a Big Mac or banana split.<\/p>\n<p>After a few days, I was proud of myself. \u00a0After reaching my goal weight, I didn&#8217;t fall off the wagon. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t want to eat a Big Mac or go out for ice cream. \u00a0This new lifestyle that I&#8217;m following is real. \u00a0It&#8217;s now been three weeks and I&#8217;m maintaining or dipping below goal weight. \u00a0I guess I really have changed and it feels good!<\/p>\n<p>I do not think it&#8217;s bad or wrong to celebrate reaching goals. \u00a0However, I would recommend not rewarding yourself with unhealthy food. \u00a0It&#8217;s very confusing for your brain. \u00a0Celebrate with a day at the park, a hike, a gift or a manicure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Septmeber 11th I hit my goal weight. \u00a0I haven&#8217;t posted about it because I&#8217;m still weeding through the feelings of what that even means.
