I hope you made it through the holidays with healthy choices and lots of laughter!\u00a0 I managed to make it through another holiday with no weight gain!\u00a0 I definitely loosened the straps this holiday.\u00a0 Over Thanksgiving, I was so worried that I probably focused on it more than necessary.\u00a0 So for Christmas,\u00a0 I wanted to let loose and just see what happened.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, my stomach can NEVER eat the kinds of portions that I used to.\u00a0 So even if I wanted to stuff myself, I really can&#8217;t anymore!\u00a0 On Christmas Eve I ate two very luscious and rich meals.\u00a0 I kept my portions in control but I could still feel the &#8216;food hangover&#8217; the next day.\u00a0 So what did I do? I ate more! On Christmas Day I made all sorts of bad choices: candy, Christmas Dinner, movie popcorn, alcohol and even POP.\u00a0 I was very nervous about getting on the scale this morning but my metabolism has been keeping up better than I thought it would.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/6106969-photo-of-tired-santa-claus-over-white-background.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-562\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/6106969-photo-of-tired-santa-claus-over-white-background-300x200.png?resize=300%2C200\" alt=\"6106969-photo-of-tired-santa-claus-over-white-background\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/6106969-photo-of-tired-santa-claus-over-white-background.png?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/6106969-photo-of-tired-santa-claus-over-white-background.png?resize=150%2C100&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/yogapantsdiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/6106969-photo-of-tired-santa-claus-over-white-background.png?w=320&amp;ssl=1 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The weigh in went fine but when I woke up I felt GROSS.\u00a0 All morning I kept feeling the sugar, carbs and yuck floating around in my body.\u00a0 (TMI WARNING!) And I kept having to make trips to the bathroom over and over.\u00a0 I knew I had to get to the gym.<\/p>\n<p>So I went and did <a title=\"Christmas Eve Workout\" href=\"http:\/\/yogapantsdiary.com\/?p=553\">The Christmas Eve Workout<\/a> again this morning and now I feel SOOO much better.\u00a0 I keep forgetting that just because I CAN eat things like candy now and then, my body still doesn&#8217;t want them.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve re-calibrated what my body craves and needs so much that now when I have a crappy eating day, it&#8217;s not worth it.\u00a0 The feeling I had this morning was NOT WORTH eating everything I did!\u00a0 Needless to say I had a giant salad for lunch and will be cooking a healthy meal tonight as well and already feel much better.<\/p>\n<p>I think it&#8217;s fine to gorge for the holidays as long as you keep it reasonable.\u00a0 What I have to remember next year, is the morning after Christmas YUCK.\u00a0 For me it was not worth it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey All!
